People will do everything they can to make you conform to the established rules. But guess what? Life is too short to settle for a dull life. Don’t compromise your beliefs just to fit in the crowd. Read our four lessons and learn how to be different and lead a better and more meaningful life.
1. Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. So if you’re feeling uncomfortable right now, know that the change taking place in your life is a beginning, not an ending. Neale Donald Walsch
If you play it safe all the time, you’ll never live your life to the fullest, you’ll never expand your boundaries and allow yourself to grow. Take a chance and step into the unknown and go beyond your safe limits. Do what you always wanted to do but didn’t because you were lacking courage or thinking it is too hard. Most people never leave the safety of their comfort zones, don’t be one of them if you want to lead a different life!
2. Don’t Just Follow The Well Trodden Path

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Ralph Waldo Emerson
Traveling the well-beaten path is easier, or at least requires less effort, than blazing a new trail. For most of us, it’s easy to assume that the road we are on is the right one just because it’s well-worn or traversed by many. We think: It looks hard so why bother. We are scared so let’s just stick to what we know. But we shouldn’t settle for less, we should find our true passion in life and leave our individual trail in this world. Even if only our loved ones see and appreciate it.
4. Stop Caring What Others Think About You
No one’s opinion matters but your own. People tend to make judgments, they want to see you fail, they talk behind your back or offend you. And, on the other hand, we also often worry that our friends or family might not approve of our choices. Newsflash: stop giving a damn, or you will miss out on much of life! It takes courage to stop caring what people think, but once you do, you will gain confidence and live the life you deserve.
3. Set the bar high

The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark. Michelangelo Buonarroti
If you want to reach your goals, hopes, and dreams, set the bar high. Many people set their goal bar where they know they can reach it and have results that are limited. They achieve what is achievable and manageable with ease, but they don’t continue to grow and learn. But if you raise your bar a bit out of reach, set the goals that are challenging but not impossible, you will accomplish things you didn’t know you were capable of doing. Unless you raise the bar a little each and every day, you’ll never know how high you can fly.
